RTER Rotary Energy Recovery Unit in Dubai, UAE
RTER Rotary Energy Recovery Unit
The RTER Rotary Energy Recovery Unit uses a continuously rotating enthalpy wheel to transfer both sensible and latent energy between exhaust and supply air streams, delivering up to 77% recovery efficiency for year-round fresh air conditioning.
Rotary Wheel Technology for Maximum Energy Savings
The RTER is engineered for commercial spaces — offices, restaurants, shops, and protected historical buildings — that require a continuous supply of fresh, pre-conditioned air. Unlike static plate recuperators, the RTER’s rotating heat exchange wheel simultaneously transfers heat and moisture from the exhaust air to the incoming fresh air, cutting the energy required to bring that air to comfort conditions — in both summer cooling and winter heating modes.
Automatic Operation and 24/7 Reliability
The RTER integrates directly with the building’s climate control system and operates continuously around the clock via its built-in automatic control system, which adjusts rotor speed and fan output based on real-time ventilation demand — requiring no manual intervention during normal operation.
EC Fans and Intuitive Airflow Management
High-efficiency EC plug fans power the supply and exhaust air streams, providing industry-leading performance at low noise levels. The wall-mounted room panel supplied as standard enables straightforward 3-stage speed adjustment, allowing building managers and occupants to increase or reduce fresh air flow as activity levels change throughout the day.
