The IGK unit draws this stale air out of the building, passing it through a high-efficiency cross-flow plate heat exchanger where up to 50% of its thermal load is transferred to the incoming fresh air — reducing the energy needed to condition that air before it reaches the occupied space, and keeping running costs lower across all seasons.
Fan Options and Airflow Control
The IGK is available with either AC or EC plug fan configurations. EC motor variants deliver lower energy consumption at all speed settings, particularly at partial load — making them the preferred choice for energy-conscious projects. AC fan models offer a straightforward, cost-effective option for standard installations. Both variants include a speed switch as standard: EC models support 3-stage airflow control, while AC models offer 5-stage adjustment, enabling the unit's output to be precisely matched to occupancy levels and time-of-day demand.
